The Story of my bracelets...
After having my daughter in 2003 I was diagnosed with MS. In the fall of 2004 I had an MS attack which left me with partial loss of feeling & use of the left side of my body~Mostly affecting my hand.
I have always been a grateful person, but I found with the birth of my son and daughter I have become even more grateful. Ironically my diagnoses has made me more grateful than ever! As my MS symptoms came calling more than usual in the summer of 2005 I wondered how I could challenge myself to keep my hands working. I thought that beading would be the ultimate challenge for my hands.
And so was born the idea of grateful bracelets. It started by making bracelets for people who I am grateful for. It has now become a way to raise money for the MS Walk. All of my bracelets have a trademark “G” for grateful and no two are exactly alike.
